Russian Impressionism Museum
The Russian Impressionism Museum is one of the largest museums in the center of Moscow with a large collection of paintings by famous artists. The museum team asked us to develop a promotional website for the upcoming exhibition of Spanish art. The project in numbers: more than 9,000 tickets sold, 6% conversion rate to purchase, more than 70,000 users, 60% of purchases made from mobile devices, 1 month to launch the first version of the website, 2 months to complete the whole project.
Before starting the design work, we conducted an interview with the client, studied the materials of the exhibition and past projects, and analyzed the competitors. It was important that the website had to be a part of the advertising campaign both visually and conceptually. It was also necessary to launch the project just in time for the start of sales, so we divided the development into several stages. The first version was launched without an administrative panel, animations and interactivity, then the rest of the functionality was gradually added.
The promotion website is divided into several main blocks. The first block briefly talks about the exhibition, showing a key picture and describing the essence of the exhibition. The remaining blocks expand the general idea of the exhibition and the museum.
The top ticket purchase button is always visible. In addition, in each block the button is duplicated.
Especially for this project, we developed an interactive, the purpose of which was to attract additional visitors to the website. The essence of the interactive is as follows — the visitor creates a postcard from one of the famous paintings of the exhibition, adds stickers and inscriptions to it, then shares it with friends on social networks or saves the postcard to himself.
A separate pop-up page with a detailed description has been developed for each artist.
The website adapts well to any device, making buying ticket as convenient and fast as possible.
